Start by cleaning your hands. Make sure the wound is clean and as much contamination is removed as possible. DermelVet™️ Broad Spectrum Antimicrobial can be diluted 1:1 with boiled or sterile water and used as a wound flush. Don't hesitate to contact your local veterinarian if you are unsure of the significance of the wound or underlying concerns.

Apply an appropriate dose of DermelVet™️ Broad Spectrum Antimicrobial Salve directly to the affected area using the easy does applicator. Apply approximate a 0.3mm thick covering. As a guide, apply about 2ml of product for every 1cm of a wound. Apply bandage as is safe and appropriate for the situation.

If the wound can be bandaged, apply DermelVet™️ Broad Spectrum Antimicrobial Salve directly to the dressing and use it to cover the wound. Note: inappropriate bandaging can harm blood supply and increase healing times. Where bandage or secondary dressing is impractical, reapply once to twice daily for best results.

DermelVet™️ Broad Spectrum Antimicrobial Salve can be left on for three days if using a bandage, and there is no pain or loss of function. If unsure of progress, repeat all steps daily. If there is no improvement within three days, or you have any concerns, please contact your veterinary health provider.
